The role of cities in global competition brings with it a change of scale also in the system of relationships that the cities traditionally wove: this raises the need for their internationalization through the establishment of networks of transnational. This paper presents a hypothesis for a network of cities of Mediterranean that the city of Reggio Calabria (Italy) could promote to improve its competitive capability.
