Abstract
The new techniques of detection (Geomatics), such as geodesy (GPS), automatic topography, digital photogrammetry and remote sensing, have radically transformed the methods of metric and thematic information acquiring in the area, for the environment and on artifacts and objects therein consistent. At the same time, the need to interpret and to integrate each other in a shorter time information acquired makes greater importance to digital mapping and information systems with spatial reference (GIS). These new techniques are certainly opening up fresh perspectives in the field of acquisition and processing information metrics. As part of an interdisciplinary project aimed at defining religious paths in Calabria between places of artistic, religious and cultural history, GPS surveys were conducted to determine the paths to be reported on a map and brought in a WebGIS also for mobile device (with O.S. Android) so every user can easily find the information. The preliminary analysis of the maps concerning the geographical area under study for the identification of the routes was followed by tracking with GPS equipment and by the spatial characterization of the places of interest by associating the image location. Then were added stages of processing and filtering data gathered and the realization of georeferenced maps to be used as support layer for the WebGIS. With regard to the implementation of WebGIS, were identified the paths and were acquired all the photographic information, geographical and historical descriptions, so the work was focused in the population of WebGIS platform using an open source program - specifically Pmapper.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
