Basé sur des études réalisées précédemment (voir l'essai sur la ville de Nefta et Gardaia étudiée à travers le concept de matrice urbaine), le thème de cette recherche était d'étudier les oasis de montagne de la ville-sud de la Tunisie. Les analyses et l'alimentation de l'information à travers la conception et le relief a permis quelques réflexions et considérations sur l'architecture urbaine qui se trouve dans une oasis naturelle située dans un paysage magnifique et imprévisible. La recherche est basée sur l'étude et l'analyse du tissu urbain de ces villes, avec l'intention spécifique d'analyser la forme, afin de mettre en évidence la construction des archétypes rficorrenti, de manière à limiter, dans le contexte local qui prend en charge ces villes, ces caractères plante-islamique unique en milieu urbain medioterranei. Based on studies carried out previously (see the essay on the city of Nafta and Gardaia studied through the concept of urban matrix), the theme of this research was to study the city-mountain oases of southern Tunisia. Partendo da studi già precedentemente svolti ( si veda il saggio sulle città di Nefta e Gardaia studiati attraverso il concetto di matrice urbana), il tema di questa ricerca è stato quello di studiare le città-oasi di montagna del sud della Tunisia. Le analisi effettuate e i continui approfondimenti attraverso il disegno e il rilievo hanno consentito alcune riflessioni e considerazioni sia sull'architettura che sul tessuto urbano situato in una oasi naturale collocata in un paesaggio straordinario e imprevedibile. La ricerca si è fondata sullo studio e l'analisi del tessuto urbano di queste città, con il preciso intento di analizzarne la forma, al fine di evidenziarne gli archetipi costruttivi rficorrenti, per poi riconoscere, nel contesto territoriale che accoglie queste città, quei caratteri unici degli impianti urbani islamico-medioterranei. La parola architettura ha a che fare con il termine archè, principio, cominciamento, fondazione, che nel nostro caso può essere messo in relazione con la nozione di struttura, al fine di confrontare tra loro queste importanti categorie che potrebbero diventare i veri paradigmi per una riconoscibilità dell'architettura mediterranea. l'intenzione quindi di questo lavoro è quello di studiare il fenomeno architettonico prendendo in considerazione tutti i casi evidenti in cui gli elementi dell'architettura entrano in gioco in una struttura uniforme da cui è possibile rintracciare quei fenomeni e quegli elementi tipici di un contesto " mediterraneo ".
