In the paper an analysis method, aimed at the verification of the performances of materials and components of buildings located in different acoustic zones provided for by Italian law with respect to outdoor noise, is presented. The method relates indoor noise levels with the acoustic features of indoor environments, their geometric parameters and the acoustic spectra characteristic of outdoor noise in different acoustic zones of a given city. In this aim, with reference to the city of Reggio Calabria, located in Southern Italy, the urban building area has been classified with respect to both the existing building typologies and the acoustic zones, in order to match, for each building, its typology with the acoustic class in which it is located. Friendly maps have been obtained, pointing out areas where building types show to be fit to assure comfort levels indoors.

Abstract
Friendly maps have been obtained, pointing out areas where building types show to be fit to assure comfort levels indoors.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
