10 Vocational Training Centers in Senegal represents the ideal follow-up to the 2018 publication, issue number 4 of this series, titled 10 Schools for Dar Es Salaam. The book attests to the continuity of the related educational experiment. The only one included in an Italian graduate syllabus, this was started almost ten years ago by the dArTe Department of Architecture and Territory of the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria. So far, the project has trained about 80 graduate students in the fourth or fifth year of their master’s degree in Architecture on the themes of design and building in Developing Countries. The essays and the collection of graduation thesis projects published in this book refer to the experiences made in Senegal in 2017 and 2019, involving 28 students coping with the design of architectural structures intended as Vocational Training Centers.
