LA CARTA TECNICA NUMERICA E IL DATABASE TOPOGRAFICO 1:5000 DELLA REGIONE CALABRIA: UN ESEMPIO DI MODELLAZIONE TERRITORIALE INTEGRATA

The Calabria Regional Authority is running a very important effort toward the basic digital modelling of his territory at 1:5.000 scale. The project implies the realisation of the numerical maps (produced by means of digital photogrammetry at the given scale), the Topographical database according with the specifications of CSR – CNIPA, the Digital Terrain Model and the orthophotos. It is an integrated application of unusual range, geodetically linked to the GPS regional network, harmonized by a unique aerial coverage which has enclosed almost the entire regional territory. This paper describes the project framework and presents some interesting results in terms of the final reached precision in the restitution process, registered by the authors in the try-out activities. Along with the “first results” presentation we’ll discuss the state of the art of the WEB deployment of geographical datasets.

La Regione Calabria ha in corso un importante progetto per la modellazione territoriale di base in scala 1:5000. E’ prevista, infatti, la realizzazione della Carta Tecnica Numerica, del Database Topografico (secondo specifiche C.S.R. – CNIPA), del DTM a passo 5x5 e delle Ortofotocarte. Si tratta di un intervento integrato di non usuale portata, inquadrato geodeticamente dalla rete GPS regionale e armonizzato da un volo unitario per gran parte del territorio regionale. Il presente contributo descrive la struttura del progetto e riporta alcuni interessanti obiettivi raggiunti, in termini di precisioni di restituzione, per uno dei lotti di cartografia, di cui gli autori hanno esperienza diretta tramite verifica in sede di collaudo sul terreno; vengono presentati, inoltre i primi risultati di diffusione del dato all’utenza regionale in ambiente WEB.
