In this chapter, we focus on the main services provided to startups by the main global incubators specialized in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. To this end, we use qualitative methodologies both to select incu- bators in these sectors and to identify and describe the characteristics of the services they provide to incubated startups. We have selected the top 15 global incubators operating in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector with different tools, expert rankings, the Google search engine, and two artificial intelligence BOTs: ChatGPT 3.5 and Google Bard (now Gemini). The identification of the characteristics of the incubation services was carried out through a coding process. Therefore, this study contributes to filling a gap in the scientific literature. The practical implications of this study are both managerial and for policymakers, as it provides a benchmark of excellence for the creation of specialized incubators in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.

Abstract
The practical implications of this study are both managerial and for policymakers, as it provides a benchmark of excellence for the creation of specialized incubators in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
