Microstrip reflectarrays are proposed as Permanent Scatterers in SAR interferometry applications. A backscattered field in a prescribed direction of incidence is obtained as in standard corner reflectors, with a more stable and flat structure. Numerical as well as experimental results are presented to validate the method.
