Abstract
New data on some aspects of Capnodis tenebrionis adult biology have been collected in two areas different climatic situation in the south of Italy. Two dynamics of adult populations havebeen compared in apricot orchards with reference to the thermic conditions. In the warmer area of type "semiarid" the adults of old and new formation overlap with an continuous increase of density adults until to reach a maximum density. In the area more tempered themaximum density reach two peak, one of old generation and the second one with individual new formed. Information about morphology, sex ratio, appearance of new generation, diffusion, etc, was also furnished, given elements useful to the comprehension of thebehavior of the phytophagous insect in order to offer a possible valuation about effects of climatic variables on biology and to improve crop protection programs.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
