Soft mobility in city planning

The paper aims to illustrate how the new spatial planning tools can integrate a system of mobility enhancement of historical, environmental heritage and landscape of cities in Calabria, a region of the south of Italy. Today, under the pressure of innovative territory government tools and thanks to a different cultural approach, we are in the condition to recovery and restore the territory through the identification of strategies and projects that are able to introduce quality of connective space and cultural kind of services based mainly on soft mobility and the fruition of this asset. The goal is to enhance and to promote a cultural and social use of the resources present in the territory and flows from new instances of a quality tourism require a careful search of new cultural desires with new destinations, which lead to the discovery of products full of meaning and content, of authenticity, of identity. All above in order to promote a strategy that seeks the tools to activate the process of valorization of the urban asset of the Calabrian cities, seems like a winning project.
