The E-Commerce development requires new generations of payment means able to solve the issues introduced by the presence of network-based activities. In this paper a payment protocol, called AIPP, complying with the FAST project and employed together with single-use account identifiers, is presented. The main aims of AIPP are to realize a safe and well accepted payment mechanism, in order to reinforce the confidence between customers and merchants and to avoid the exchange of sensible information. Some results obtained using a prototypal implementation of AIPP are presented.

Abstract
The E-Commerce development requires new generations of payment means able to solve the issues introduced by the presence of network-based activities. In this paper a payment protocol, called AIPP, complying with the FAST project and employed together with single-use account identifiers, is presented. The main aims of AIPP are to realize a safe and well accepted payment mechanism, in order to reinforce the confidence between customers and merchants and to avoid the exchange of sensible information. Some results obtained using a prototypal implementation of AIPP are presented.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
