Due to the current emergency epidemiological situation of the pandemic COVID-19, all universities have redesigned the form of delivery of their training offer in the distance learning method (DaD). We describe an investigation aimed at exploring the experience that the university students are carrying out in this emergency phase, also in order to re-design the didactics in the post- COVID-19 phase. The exploratory research demonstrates the effectiveness perceived by students about DaD and the importance of conducting further explorations of forms of mediation and didactic transposition by teachers at the University, with a view to a progressive acquisition of open learning theoretical and epistemological models, enhancing flexible learning, autonomy and the negotiating construction of knowledge.
