A data processing method for detecting the conversion from mild cognitive impairment (MCI) to Alzheimer disease (AD), allowing objectively quantifying the effects that this has on the patient's electroencephalogram (EEG). The method of the invention provides an objective criterion for monitoring the brain health status of MCI subjects, which goes alongside the other criteria of neurological, psychological, clinical and cognitive assessment normally provided by the evaluation protocols of these patients.

Abstract

A data processing method for detecting the conversion from mild cognitive impairment (MCI) to Alzheimer disease (AD), allowing objectively quantifying the effects that this has on the patient's electroencephalogram (EEG).
