Cinquanta6dime Autobiografia figurata

The text, a figured autobiography, collects watercolors with self-representative figures in a path that crosses the myth and present-day representations in the light of a presentation by the author in heteronomous guise. Replacing the figure for the word means, for the writer, to let go beyond the discursiveness towards which language tends and replacing it with the image that makes it more obvious. The number of figures in 56 specimens recalls the date of birth, while 6 of me, the word “sedime” (ground), as if everything could be sustained starting from the foundations. A floor plan, where we read in a very banal dictionary: "in constructions, the flat surface of the ground on which the foundations of a building or an artifact rest". The text also makes use of the presentations of Antonella Greco, Franco Purini and Pedro Antonio Janeiro.

Il testo, una autobiografia figurata, raccoglie acquerelli con figure autorappresentativi in un percorso che attraversa il mito e le rappresentazioni odierne alla luce di una presentazione dell’autore sotto vesti eteronime. Sostituire la figura alla parola vuol dire, per chi scrive, lasciarsi andare oltre la discorsività a cui tende il linguaggio e sostituirlo con l’immagine che lo rende più palese. Il numero delle figure in 56 esemplari richiama la data di nascita, mentre 6 di me, la parola sedime, come se il tutto potesse sostenersi a partire da delle fondamenta. Un piano di sedime, dove si legge in un banalissimo dizionario:”nelle costruzioni la superficie piana del terreno su cui poggiano le fondazioni di un edificio o di un manufatto”.
