E’ un antico insediamento cristiano-romano nato intorno al sesto secolo. Il principale gruppo di rovine appartiene alla Chiesa di Santo Stefano al cui interno è possibile ammirare numerosi mosaici a pavimento. Umm al-Rasās chiamata anche Castrum Mefa’a è un sito archeologico che si trova nella Giordania centro-orientale.
