It is widely diffused and aware that Contemporary urbanism faces different problems and needs from the past, faced with an ethical tension and social commitment of great cultural value. The pattern of urban growth and taxation of the imposing and deterministic territory is largely overcome. The need nowadays is to give immediate responses to the ongoing changes: environmental, social, disruption and widespread poverty. A new awareness, a new responsibility, a new urban culture is needed. A new way to design the territory in defense of the common good, which means first of all to preserve the historical heritage, to ensure fair distribution of rights, to evaluate the consequences of interventions in the territory through the application of multi-attribute or multi-criteria evaluation techniques. From here comes the need to work out a contemporary idea, how we want to build (and defend) our cities of the future and protect the landscapes and how a new design culture can become the road and the engine of this vision.

Abstract
From here comes the need to work out a contemporary idea, how we want to build (and defend) our cities of the future and protect the landscapes and how a new design culture can become the road and the engine of this vision.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
