Quale misura per l’invisibile

In the condition of post-Coronavirus catastrophe for the architectural pro-ject it is not a question of identifying new urban foundational models on a territory reduced to its zero degree, but rather of intervening on the exist-ing city and the sense of living.We are in the presence of an epochal ideological inversion: the house, as a new centrality, arrives from the existenzminimum to the need to expand, overcome ‘free space’ for new individual ‘enclosures’, proposing itself as a workshop.The city revises the concept of identity, in the search for new ‘measures’ in the relationship between the workplace and the place of living, between public and individual space, between extensiveness and slow infrastruc-tural networks, in a new process of demineralization and therefore of min-gling with nature.

Nella condizione di post catastrofe da coronavirus per il progetto architettonico non si tratta di individuare nuovi modelli urbani fondativi su un territorio ridotto al suo grado zero, quanto d’intervenire sulla città esistente e il senso dell’abitare. Siamo in presenza di un’inversione ideologica epocale: la casa, come nuova centralità, dall’existenzminimum approda alla necessità di espandersi, superare ‘lo spazio libero’ per nuovi ‘recinti’ individuali, riproponendosi come officina. La città rivede il concetto d’identità, nella ricerca di nuove ‘misure’ nei rapporti tra luogo di lavoro e luogo dell’abitare, tra spazio pubblico e individuale, tra estensività e reti infrastrutturali lenti, in un nuovo processo di demineralizzazione e quindi di commistione con la natura.
