La progettazione educativa in carcere per i detenuti con disabilità

Disability and prison seem to be two mutually exclusive realities, yet in the many correctional institutions, there are people with disabilities who have committed some crime and, like everyone else, must serve prison sentences. Is it possible to serve a prison sentence under conditions of disability without violating the person's rights and dignity? In Italy, it is not always possible, due to poor facilities, architectural barriers, and unskilled staff.
