The right to lifelong learning has only recently been regulated in Italy with the introductionof Law 92/2012. The law recognizes the right to take advantage of accessible and effectivetraining opportunities to improve the potentialities of adult individuals. This contributionpresents an experience of certification of transversal outgoing skills aimed at achieving thetwo-year secondary school degree. The sample consists of 13 unemployed women agedbetween 18 and 44, residing in the Spanish Neighborhoods, one of the poorestneighborhoods of the Neapolitan city, who did not have the opportunity to complete highereducation, having become mothers at an early age. The training proposal, launched as partof the activities of the OPENN Project (Offerta Percorsi Educativi Nuovi Napoli), aims atthe implementation of a professional profile expendable in the field of childcare.
