The lingualatte of the mother and of the Earth- Matria,

Lingualatte is the language that is learned spontaneously, drinking it from the lips of the mother just as one drinks milk fromher breast. It is a language made of voice rather than words, because, before communicating meanings, it means love. Grand-mothers, wet nurses, teachers, have preserved it for centuries in funeral songs, lullabies and fairy tales. The romantic peoples have recognized it, transforming the “mother tongue” into the “national language”, of a nation without borders that is not the Homeland of Patriarchs and Heritages but the Homeland of roots, of memory, of places of childhood and protection. But above all it is the wind, the water of the spring, the rustling of the leaves, the moan of the animal, that have spoken it as a universal language that, beyond borders and walls, unites the living in the arms of Mother Nature, thus re-establishing the ecological con-cept of Earth-Homeland towards the utopia of a Mother-Earth

La lingualatte è la lingua che si apprende spontaneamente, bevendola dalle labbra della madre cosi come dal suo seno si beve illatte, è una lingua fatta di voce più che di parole, perché, prima di comunicare significati, vuol dire l’amore. Le nonne, le balie, le maestre, l’hanno conservata per secoli nei canti funebri, nelle ninne-nanne e nelle fiabe. I popoli romantici la hanno ricono-sciuta, trasformando la lingua materna nella lingua nazionale, di un nazione senza confini che non è la Patria dei Patriarchi e dei Patrimoni ma la Matria delle radici, della memoria, dei luoghi di infanzia e protezione. Ma soprattutto è il vento, l’acqua della sorgente, il fruscio delle foglie, il gemito dell’animale, che l’hanno parlata come lingua universale che, al di là dei confini e dei muri, accomuna i viventi fra le braccia della Natura-Madre, rifondando cosi il concetto ecologico di Terra-Patria verso l’utopia di una Terra-Matria.
