Il Network 'Terre Mediterranee'

This contribution presents the international network “Terre Mediterranee” (Mediterranean Lands), identifying the framework within which it intends to operate and some of its activities. The Network was created through collaboration between three Mediterranean universities and intends to extend to universities and research centers for the development of scientific collaboration. Braudel and Homer, with Ulysses and the Mediterranean as sea and land, respectively, constitute two strong cultural and project references for developing a Mediterranean way of thinking.

Il contributo presenta il Network internazionale ‘Terre Mediterranee’ individuandone la cornice nella quale intende operare e alcune tracce di attività. Il Network nasce dalla collaborazione tra tre Università del Mediterraneo e si intende estendere a Università e Centri di ricerca per lo sviluppo della collaborazione scientifica. Braudel e Omero, rispettivamente con Ulisse e col Mediterraneo quale mare e quale terra, costituiscono due forti riferimenti culturali e progettuali per sviluppare un pensare mediterraneo.
