The Fuzzy Logic has been applied with success in order to obtain a Scalar Fuzzy Model (SFM) of Hysteresis. It has been used to model magnetic material behaviour of non-oriented soft steels; in particular it describes the experimental symmetric minor loops and virgin curve data. The identification problem of the SFM can be solved by means of the knowledge of the experimental major loop and virgin curve data only. In this paper we introduce a modification of the SFM parameters identification with respect to the previous model, changing learning phase in order to obtain symmetric behaviour. Finally, a comparison between the SFM and the Classical Scalar Preisach Model (CSPM) is shown; an interesting aspect is that the SFM magnetization computational time is smaller of the one required by the CSPM.
