The use of printed reflectarrays as planar scatterers for SAR interferometry applications is proposed. A phase-only synthesis is applied to obtain a scattered field in a prescribed direction. A reflectarray working at ERS1/2 frequency (5.3 GHz) is simulated to validate the method. Measurements are performed on a 10 GHz size-reduced prototype.
