The contemporary city, result of a liquid society, has also become liquid, transforming itself into urban territory and incorporating within it large areas of uncertain character - or, better to say, no longer certain - characterized in some cases by a high degree of atopicity (as in the case of disused areas of various kinds) while in others it has such a strong topicality that it seems out of place (for example, areas or elements characterized by historical-cultural or naturalistic value). The challenge is to understand how these areas (in which the sense of the landscape often prevails over the story of the territory) can become new urban places - nodal elements (oikos) of a pervasive ecological infrastructure - and generate a different system of spaces for social enjoyment. A research line, both theoretical and design - which has long been undergoing personal experimentation - is based on the paradigm of the Ecopolitan Network, understood as a system of dense places (rethought as spaces for public use) interconnected (materially or immaterially) in a way as to create a sort of environmental infrastructure of urban/metropolitan/territorial scale which, emerging from purely sectoral spheres, becomes a supporting element for the project to redevelop the contemporary urban territory, with respect to which it contributes to the creation of original scenarios and visions, in particular in the hybrid zones of mixture between different landscapes.

Abstract
A research line, both theoretical and design - which has long been undergoing personal experimentation - is based on the paradigm of the Ecopolitan Network, understood as a system of dense places (rethought as spaces for public use) interconnected (materially or immaterially) in a way as to create a sort of environmental infrastructure of urban/metropolitan/territorial scale which, emerging from purely sectoral spheres, becomes a supporting element for the project to redevelop the contemporary urban territory, with respect to which it contributes to the creation of original scenarios and visions, in particular in the hybrid zones of mixture between different landscapes.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
