Subsequentlythedirectionalanalysisofeachstormisperformedbyconsideringthewavedirection associated toeachseastateduringthestorm.Amethodologytoclassifythe “directional storms” pertaining toacertaindirectionalsectorisproposed.Finallyatechniquetodeterminethemain directions ofoccurrenceofthestrongestseastormsandtheappropriatewidthofsectorsfordirectional analysisisproposed.Resultsareusefulfordifferentkindofapplicationssuchasdirectionallong-term predictions forthedesignprocessofangle-dependentstructuresorforwaveenergyconverterdevices.
