The phenolic compounds extracted from two soils under different vegetation, Fagus sylvatica (S1) and Pinus laricio (S2), were tested on germination of Pinus laricio seeds. The α-amylase (EC 3.2.1.1), β-amylase (EC 3.2.1.2) and α-glucosidase (EC 3.2.1.20) were assayed. The amount of phenolic acids differed between the sites examined. The data obtained show that the phenols extracted from S2 site inhibited more the seed germination, α- and β-amylase, and α-glucosidase activities compared to phenolic compounds extracted from S1 site

Abstract
The phenolic compounds extracted from two soils under different vegetation, Fagus sylvatica (S1) and Pinus laricio (S2), were tested on germination of Pinus laricio seeds. The α-amylase (EC 3.2.1.1), β-amylase (EC 3.2.1.2) and α-glucosidase (EC 3.2.1.20) were assayed. The amount of phenolic acids differed between the sites examined. The data obtained show that the phenols extracted from S2 site inhibited more the seed germination, α- and β-amylase, and α-glucosidase activities compared to phenolic compounds extracted from S1 siteI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
