Abstract
In response to serious environmental changes, adaptation plays a key role in the resilient transition processes of the urban systems involved. These issues are even more important if they relate to the Cultural Heritage and, more specifically, to the historical centers of the Mediterranean area, now considered a hot-spot particularly vulnerable to extreme weather events. In this sense, the possible methodologies of intervention in the national field refer to the strategies outlined by the National Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change (PNACC), which require a concrete implementation step justified by related to field actions. The contribution, which is part of an ongoing Ph.D. research, promotes the multifactorial climate analysis of two case studies of interest (the historic centers of Gerace and Cosenza) in order to identify a framework of first criteria technical-scientific support for the elaboration of adaptive strategies of the public spaces of the historical centers analyzedI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
